Rainbow Houses - Orange House

The Orange House Apartment is part of a recently renovated historic farmhouse close to the Ionian Sea. It has a large lawn in common with all the flats of the ‘Residence Rainbow Houses’ consisting of 4 flats in total.
Immersed in the tranquillity of the Lucanian countryside where it is possible to rediscover ancient smells, especially during the wheat harvest period. In fact, it is surrounded by fields that in the summer are tinged with the golden yellow of the ears of wheat.
It is also characterised by its proximity to the sea; in fact, it is just 800 metres from one of the most beautiful lidos on the Pisticcese coast, Lido Natura. In short, this flat is the ideal place for those who want to spend a serene and relaxing stay without giving up a few dips in the splendid Ionian Sea.
The Orange House flat is also particularly suitable for small groups of friends as well as for families, because thanks to the outdoor garden, even the youngest children can find the right space to have fun. In addition, the coastline, consisting of 8 kilometres of beaches completely of fine sand and clear but shallow water, has been awarded not only the prestigious ‘Blue Flag’ but also the ‘Green Flag’. It is thus among the 25 best national beaches recommended by the Children's Medical Association.
The Orange House Apartment consists of:
- a living room with a very spacious kitchenette with TV and double sofa bed
- a well-equipped kitchenette (4-burner stove, freezer, fridge, plates and cutlery), also equipped with - all basic cooking utensils, such as coffee, sugar, salt and oil
- a double bedroom
- a comfortable bathroom with shower and toilet
- a spacious veranda
Not far from this historic farmhouse and not far from the Orange House flat is the Heraclea plain where Greek colonists settled in past centuries, whose ancient findings can be admired at the museums of Metaponto and Policoro .
Moreover, just over half an hour's drive away you can visit the famous Sassi of Matera European Capital of Culture 2019 and about 40 minutes away you can admire the Lucanian Dolomites of the Pollino Park. So there is the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, as well as many places of culture and tradition.
Finally, there are many hilltop villages to visit, each with something to discover, both culturally and gastronomically, such as Pisticci itself, Rotondella, Bernalda.
